I have over 10 years experience as a professional photographer. As well as photographing, I am also a tutor in photography, creative media, videography and photo editing.
There are so many ways to teach a subject. As I am creative media focused, I find visuals can really help focus and support learning. I am very patient, open and personable, and happy to go over anything you are unsure of until it makes sense! If there is a specific way you feel you learn best, I am happy to adapt to your needs!
Photography and Moving Image

Requirements
No experience required!
You will need a DSLR or bridge/mirrorless camera with manual settings, kit lens (plus any other lenses you have), computer or laptop, a folder for your handouts and a tripod is recommended.

(Sessions are 60 minutes long and also include a free 30 minute introduction to discuss your needs and requirements)
Editing
available for all ages and levels
I specialise in photo editing, particularly looking at Photoshop and Lightroom. These sessions are tailored to you so that you get the best out of the course. No matter whether you are looking for a new hobby, would like to learn more advanced techniques or looking for support with your school or project work, or even training for an employee, I am more than happy to help.

You will need a computer or laptop with the editing software you would like to learn, a memory stick and a folder for your handouts.

Basic computer skills
available for all ages
If you know someone who would like to learn how to use a computer, no matter what the age, I am happy to help. Also if you are a pc user and looking to switch to a mac (or vice versa), I also provide sessions in this too. In these sessions, I cover the basics of setting up of a new computer, how to use a mouse and keyboard, how to search things on the internet, learn word processing in Microsoft Word, set up an email address so you can communicate digitally with others, transferring files from a device and uploading them to the 'Cloud' (remote online storage) or a USB stick. If there is anything else they would like to learn, let me know!
